COOPERS Stout 1.7 kg., designed to prepare 23 liters of beer.

The beer is dark brown in color with a persistent foam, reminiscent of the foam on espresso coffee. A mixture of coffee, chocolate and grain, dark malt, hops. Bright bitterness in the aftertaste.

For primary fermentation you need to add 1 kg. dextrose, sugar or equivalent amount of unhopped malt extract

Color: 1800 EBC

Bitterness: 710 IBU

Bitterness and color values ​​per 1 kg. malt extract.

To determine the COLOR and BITTERNESS of your future beer:

1. You need to multiply the color or bitterness by the amount of extract you plan to use (for example, 1.7 kg if you do the whole jar).
2. You need to divide the figure obtained in step 1. by the volume of beer you are going to prepare, in liters.

That is, if you plan to brew 23 liters of beer:

Color: 1800*1.7/23=133 units.

Bitterness: 710*1.7/23=52 units.
