Pharmacological properties

Antiglaukomny means, non-selective blocker of β-adrenoceptors. Indication

Increased intraocular pressure, an open angle glaucoma; the glaucoma caused by an aphakia; main types of secondary glaucoma.

Use

0.25% or 0.5% solution — on 1 drop (30 mkl) 1–2 times a day in a sore eye. it is recommended to begin treatment with use of 0.25% of solution; if the effect is insufficient, it is necessary to apply 0.5% solution. intraocular pressure should be measured in 3–4 weeks after an initiation of treatment and further it is regular, at regular intervals.

Contraindication

Heart failure, violation of a heart rhythm, especially av-blockade of ii-iii of degree, bradycardia, oh, hobl, predisposition to a bronchospasm, hypersensitivity to Timololum to a maleate or a benzalkoniya to chloride.

Side effects

Interaction
