Description
With the cold weather coming, it’s time for mulled beer, which is suitable for both beer enthusiasts and those who “don’t drink beer anymore.”
Old mulled wine is often called glubier (from the German Gl?hbier - “beer with spices”).
Preparing Bavarian glubiru
You will need:
- 1.5 liters of dark or unfiltered beer
- This set of spices
- 100 ml of whiskey or bourbon
- 2 teaspoons of cinnamon

Preparing the glube:
In a container over low heat, heat the beer to 70° C. Add the sugar.
Mix well, continue heating until the caramel is completely broken.
Turn down the heat earlier and bring the lower beer to a boil.
Add whiskey or bourbon. Cover with a lid and wait for a while.
