Indications

Makrolaks it is intended for cleaning of intestines before:

• endoscopic and X-ray inspection;
• abdominal ultrasonography;
• surgical interventions on intestines.

Contraindication

Makrolaks it is not applied in case of hypersensitivity to product components, dehydration of an organism, heavy heart failure, an install stenosis or occlusion, dynamic Ilheus, acute or heavy colitis, megacolon, perforation of intestines, gastric stagnation, intestinal impassability, inflammatory bowel diseases (ulcer colitis, Crohn's disease), to patients weighing less than 20 kg or is younger than 2 years.

Makrolaks is accelerated by transit of stool in intestines and can influence absorption of the oral medicaments taken at the same time. After intake of other oral medicaments it is necessary to wait not less than 2 hours before accepting MAKROLAKS. In case of treatment by anticoagulants, antiagregant or medicaments for treatment of diabetes, it is necessary to consult with the doctor or the endoscopist for possible change of a dosage.

Route of administration

For full cleaning of intestines for immediate preparation of oral suspension contents of 2 sachets should be poured out in 1 liter of water, it is good to stir up that homogeneous solution turned out. Drug should be drunk within 1-2 hours, drinking 250 ml each 10-15 minutes, the first liter will not end yet. In addition to drink 500 ml of water (half of liter) to receive in total 1.5 l (1 liter of medicament and 500 ml of water).

Approximately in 1 hour to repeat preparation from other 2 sachets in 1 l of water and then as it is described above, 500 more ml of water (1 l of medicament and 500 ml of water). The total amount of liquid has to be 3 liters.
