Description
John Lennon, Plastic Ono Band – Imagine/Its So Hard (Apple Records – 1840, USA, 1971).
"Imagine" is the song by John Lennon from the album "Imagine" (1971) of the same name in which the author stated the opinion of what has to be the world. Lennon said that the song "is in effect the Communistic manifesto though he is not a communist and does not belong to any political movement".
Though in charts of the USA and Great Britain the song did not rise above the 3rd place, it became the business card of Lennon. Kak noticed the ex-U.S. President Jimmy Carter, "in many countries worldwide — we with the wife were almost in 125 — it is possible to hear the song by John Lennon "Imagine" almost also often as national anthems".
on November 26, 1980, in 12 days prior to Lennons death, "Imagine" was reissued in Great Britain and won first place in charts. On the same day the version of the clip on composition where Lennon plays wearing spectacles a piano was shown. Eto was the last shooting for the composer. According to the Rolling Stone "Imagine" magazine ranks third in the list of 500 greatest songs of all times. The professional American edition "Performing Songwriter" called "Imagine" "the best composition of all times and the people". Plastinks
practically in excellent condition.
