Mastometrin

STRUCTURE AND FORM of RELEASE: Mastometrin — the complex homeopathic medicine containing in quality of active ingredients Pulsatilla D15, Sepia D6, ASD-2 D9, Lachesis mutus D8 and Sabina D3 and also auxiliary components of sodium chloride and water for injections. Medicine is produced in the form of the sterile transparent colourless solution for injections packaged on 10 ml and 100 ml in glass bottles.

PHARMACOLOGICAL PROPERTIES: Mastometrin contains the homeopathic components shown at inflammatory diseases and functional violations of reproductive organs and a mammary gland of females. Mastometrin has anti-inflammatory effect. On extent of impact on an organism of warm-blooded animals medicine belongs to low-dangerous substances, does not possess the local irritative and sensibilizing action. The homeopathic components which are Mastometrins part in midget doses do not collect in an animal organism.

INDICATION: Appoint an animal with the medical purpose at inflammatory diseases of a reproductive system and a mammary gland: sharp, chronic and subclinical endometritis, sharp catarrhal and subclinical mastitis.

DOSE AND METHOD OF APPLICATION: Mastometrin solution for injections is entered an animal hypodermically or intramuscularly. The single dose of medicine on one animal makes: to cattle — 5 – 10 ml; to horses — 10 – 15 ml; to pigs — 2.5 - 5 ml; to goats, sheep, calfs, foals and pigs — 2 - 2.5 ml; to dogs of large and average breeds — 2 – 4 ml; to dogs of small breeds, puppies, cats and kittens — 0.5 - 2 ml; to polecats and ferrets — 0.5 ml and to rodents on 0.2 - 0.3 ml. For each animal it is necessary to use a separate sterile needle. Medicine is applied 1 – 2 time a day before disappearance of clinical symptoms of a disease. Duration of a course of treatment is 7 – 14 days. If necessary the course of treatment is repeated. Mastometrins application does not exclude use of other medicines of etiotropic, pathogenetic and symptomatic therapy.
