Dorzopt Plus cap. eye. solution fl. 5 ml No. 1

Drug is shown for treatment of the increased intraocular pressure at patients with an open angle glaucoma or pseudo-exfoliative glaucoma when topical administration is only not enough beta-blockers.

Structure

active ingredients: dorzolamid; Timololum;

1 ml of drops eye, the solution containing 20 mg dorzolamidy in the form of 22.26 mg dorzolamidy a hydrochloride and 5 mg of Timololum in the form of 6.84 mg of Timololum of a maleate;

excipients: hydroxyethylcellulose; citric acid monohydrate, sodium hydroxide of 1 M solution Mannitolum (E 421) benzalkoniya chloride, 1 M solution of sodium of hydroxide or hydrochloric acid; the water purified.

Contraindication

Drug is contraindicated to patients with:

• reactive respiratory diseases, including bronchial asthma or bronchial asthma in the anamnesis, or a serious chronic obstructive illness of lungs;
• sinus bradycardia, a sick sinus syndrome, sinuatrial the block, AV blockade of II or III degree, it is not controlled by a pacemaker, the expressed heart failure, cardiogenic shock;
• heavy renal failure (clearance of creatinine (CrCl) <30 ml/min.) or giperkhloremichesky acidosis;
• hypersensitivity to one or both active ingredients, or to any of medicine components and also during pregnancy and feeding by a breast.

Route of administration

DORZOPT PLUS are appointed on 1 drop in a conjunctival sac of affected eye (eyes) by 2 times a day.

If at the same time use other local ophthalmologic drug, the interval between burying medicine of DORZOPT PLUS and other medicine has to make not less than 10 minutes.

Is not present data on overdose of medicine at accidental or its deliberate ingestion.

Side reactions

it is rare: symptoms of system allergic reactions, including Quincke's disease, small tortoiseshell, itch, rash, anaphylactic reactions.
