Solution for external use "Alcohol of 96%" is intended for disinfection of skin of hands.

Structure

Active ingredient - ethanol (not less than 95.1% about/about (92.6% of mom) and no more than 96.9% about/about (95.2% of mom) ethanol and also water).

Pharmacological properties

Pharmacodynamics

At external use has antiseptic, disinfecting, local irritative action. Ethanol coagulates proteins, is active concerning gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria and viruses. Has "tannic" effect on skin and mucous membranes.

Pharmacokinetics

At topical administration through skin.

Contraindication

• increased individual sensitivity;
• skin acute inflammatory processes;
• age up to 14 years.

Route of administration

Outwardly - is applied to skin by means of cotton plugs, napkins.

Pregnant

during pregnancy and feeding by a breast use of medicine is only possible

This solution does not influence speed of response at control of motor transport or other mechanisms.
